Time-Saving Tools for Effective UX/UI Design

In this article, I will share about the important tools in our design process. Whether you focus on User Experience (UX) or User Interface (UI) design, having the right set of tools is a crucial first step. Additionally, choosing tools that are suitable for you and your team is important for optimizing daily work.

1) Figma

We often use Figma for UX/UI design and other stages. From wireframes to pixel-perfect designs, Figma supports the entire design process. The prototyping feature is also very useful. Figma allows real-time collaboration between designers and developers, along with many useful plugins.

Content Reel

This is a plugin that makes it easy to search for images, text, and icons to efficiently complete the design.

Instance Finder

This plugin helps you quickly find component instances in the design, especially useful for larger projects.

Frontitude

Improves the UX writing process, creates a product text library, and ensures language consistency.

2) Around

An online meeting tool that allows you to work in other tools without taking up much screen space.

3) Miro

An online whiteboard tool that supports smooth collaboration for remote teams.

4) After Effects and Lottie

After Effects for creating visual and video effects, combined with Lottie for optimizing SVG-based animations.

5) Protopie

Used for creating more complex prototypes, with compatibility with Figma.

6) Linear

A simple and intuitive project management tool for tracking and managing tasks.

7) Slack

The main communication tool through status updates, team meetings, and integration with other applications.

In addition to these tools, there are many others like Google Docs, Confluence, Google Sheets, Loom, and many more that can be useful depending on the specific situation. Wishing you find suitable and effective tools for your design process!
